Nuclear Iran – What a difference a few years makes

Think about it, Saddam Hussein did not have either nuclear weapons, or a viable nuclear weapons building program in place when we invaded under George W. Bush. We didn’t know Saddam was bluffing, and he thought we were, and we weren’t. His mistake cost him his neck literally.

Now you have Iran moving swiftly towards nuclear weapons, and the novice in the White House certainly doesn’t seem to take it too seriously, does he? Either Obama doesn’t get it, or a nuclear Iran is a not a big threat. One thing is for sure however. Iraq and Iran were enemies, and by killing off Saddam, and that’s what we did, we killed him off, we emboldened Iran.

We simply took away Iran’s natural enemy and thus allowed the Iranians to be free to do whatever it is they wanted to do. President Bush’s father, clearly the brains of the family, must be very disturbed at his own gene pool.
