BP Oil Spill is Overplayed

May 3rd,  2010

Don’t you love the mental midgets that make up the media in this country. You got to get the story right before you write the conclusion. You shouldn’t write a conclusion, and then pick and choose different facts and force them to fit the conclusion. The bottom line is that BP is so vast a company as any truly multinational oil company must be, that the Gulf  Spill when all is said and done is a drop in the bucket to this firm’s balance sheet.

This ain’t the Exxon Valdez and even if it were, that deal took 15 years, and only $4 billion to settle. Do you know what $4 billion is to Exxon, it’s a walk in the park, and the same is true for BP. So while everybody is getting all Lady Ga Ga over the oil hitting the sands of the coastal line, and I do sympathize with the inhabitants, the real money is going to be made in loading up on BP Stock.
